About Grace

I’m an animator with a lifelong love of animation in all its forms, currently working freelance across stop-motion and 2D projects. I enjoy the process of bringing characters and ideas to life frame by frame and finding creative solutions along the way.

I earned my BFA in Animation from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and further developed my skills at the Aardman Academy and the School of Visual Arts. My mixed-media animated film Cat in Hell won the Best Student Film Award at the 2023 Khem Film Festival.

Through my time at Aardman Academy, Baboon Animation, and my freelance work, I’ve gained experience working within professional production pipelines, collaborating with creative teams, and delivering work on schedule.

I approach every project with curiosity and a desire to keep learning. As the saying goes, “If you’re not learning, you’re not paying attention.” Whether I’m animating a short shot or developing a new idea, I’m always looking for ways to experiment and keep the work fresh.
