Puppets and Sculpture
Prehistoric Shaman Scupture

This is a character sculpt of a prehistoric shaman. He is made out of tin foil, polymer clay, wire, and acrylic paint.

Rapunzel Puppet Marquette
“Rapunzel Cuts His Hair” is a gender queer take on the classic Rapunzel fair tale. The story follows Rapunzel’s growing relationship with the visiting prince and journey of self discovery. The short is currently being pitched and this marquette sculpture was made as material for that pitch. I also created a blueprint for the final Rapunzel puppet.
Materials used were polymer clay, paper clay, acrylic paint, clear nail polish and hoop earrings.
Fire Horse Puppet
This is a puppet I made for Lunar New Year 2026. It’s a horse puppet with a fire mane made out of felt, foam, wire, plumbers epoxy, and UV resin. This is the second felt puppet I’ve made.

In Your Blood
The Vampire Colin Puppets
In Your Blood is an independent stop motion short film about a boy named Matt struggling with his identity, being pulled between his monster hunting father and vampiric crush.
The directors aimed to strike a balance between romance and horror, and the success of the balance heavily relied on the portrayal of the vampire Colin. He needed to be able to switch from being pathetic to threatening, so he had two forms: vampire and human. The vampire puppets were more monstrous, complete with glowing eyes. This was accomplished with micro LEDs in the eyes, which were wired down the puppet to the battery off-screen.
Materials used were watercolor paint, watercolor paper, indian ink, micro LEDs, and tissue paper.

Cross Bow Prop
These are flat crossbow props created for the stop-motion short film “In Your Blood.” New props were needed for each camera angle, and they were designed to interact with flat puppets. A key feature included an animatable drawstring for added functionality.
They are made from cardboard, embroidery thread, wooden dowels, watercolor paper, and watercolor paint.

Dinning Room Set

A multi-layered background from the stop motion short “In Your Blood.” It was shot with a down shooter, and depth was created by layering background elements and characters on planes of glass. While the fire animation was added in post-production, an orange light was placed in the empty fireplace during the animation process to create the lighting effect.

AZFK Muppet Hand Puppet
A muppet style hand puppet made for the YouTube Channel AZFK. The stick controlling the hand is detachable, the eyebrows interchangeable, the pupil moveable, and the hands posable for added versatility.
It’s made out of fabric, felt, Styrofoam, UV resin, acrylic pain, cardboard, foam, and plastic.
Thank you to my mom, Michelle Morrissey, for modeling.

Owl Diorama
This is an example piece for an original diorama sculpture project meant to be competed by pre-teens and teenagers in an art camp. It was designed in such a way that it could be completed in five three hour sessions.
There were many materials provided for the art project but this example owl is made of air dry clay, tin foil, wooden dowels, Styrofoam, wire, acyclic paint, tissue paper, black construction paper, and fake moss.
